The info I looked at was for c1500--gasoline. Did you check voltage and ground at the fuel pump connector? Tan wire with white tracer should be voltage for pump, engine cranking. I didn't see a ground wire, usually black. Also, terminal G at the datalink connector should be a test circuit for the pump. If you use a jumper wire from battery voltage to terminal G, the pump should run. No need to use the key. I don't have a picture of the datalink connector in front of me, can get it if you need it?
If no voltage, check fuel control inline fuse--20amp. Don't just look at the fuse, check for voltage on the circuit, engine cranking. That fuse should be under the hood, passenger side, firewall.
