I have a '77 chevy 3/4 ton with a '95 5.7 350 in it, when i start the truck it takes a few really hard cranks before it catches, it sounds very similar as if i had a massive cam in it. then it catches and runs strong. the other problem comes in when i accelerate hard the engine boggs and almost chokes itself out. so i cant climb hills and when i try im almost stopped by the top because i cant accelerate hard. I replaced the fuel filter, the pump sounds good and engages as it always has. i checked the spark plugs, they looked good. the cap rotor and distributor assembly all look good. just cleaned out the TBI and put in new gaskets. i have no idea where to go from here so any advice is greatly appreciated.
