My 2002 4X2 Extended Cab's parking brake pedal won't stay down & engage the brakes. Cables are all loose & work fine. How do I go about pulling out the Parking Brake mechanism inside the cab to repair/replace it??

I'm not sure on the replacement but We have had good success at getting some penetrating fluid into the mechanism and working the dog the holds it in place.
