I have a s-10 PU its 5 yrs old and the other day when I shut the truck off I heard static in my speakers, when I turned the truck back on the radio did not work. I do get the LED readings of the preset stations and also the clock still works the only problem is no sound coming from the radio at all now.
I would appreciate any ideas you might have on what it could be, its driving me crazy! Thank you in advance, Mike

Do you have a radio theft deterrent device?

If it has a built in amp that's where the speakers gets it output from .

Also could be a fuse blown that's controlling the amp. power check all your fuses.
