I have 1988 Chevy S-10 with 2.5L TBI. I have replaced, repaired, or tested fuel pump and filter, fuel injector, O2 sensor, throttle position sensor, idle air valve, Hall affect, reset timing, and rebuilt throttle body. The truck will start (with some priming) and idle. But, as soon as you touch the throttle the truck dies unless you squirt extra fuel into the throttle body then it revs fine. I got 12 volts to injestors and the resistance from the pcm reads 72 K ohms. I can not find what the K ohms should be. If you have any ideas about K ohms or pinpointing the problem I would appreciate it.

Get it to idle - disconnect the timing connector to bypass the computer. Set your timing to the label. Reconnect your timing wire to the computer - its the black connector that has one wire on it just under the floor material in the passenger floor. Black and pink if memory serves. It sounds like timing if it retarded it will die - if its advanced it will race.
