'93 S10 / starts then stalls then wont start

I have a 1993 chevy S10 4.3 V6 2wd.
Most of the time i try to crank it up it wont start (turns over good), but when it does start it stalls within 30 secs or so.. I will come and try to start again later in the day and the same thing would happen..

Could this be something as lil as a fuel filter???? or is it more the likely the fuel pump?? of course im assuming it is a fuel problem..



**update** upon further inspection the fuel pump is turning on, i hear it turning on when i turn on the key

started up fine today drove it to work and when i went to leave work started then stalled about a block from work and had a friend tow me home...

hope this is helpful..

Could this possibly be my fuel pump??

any help would be appreciated..if you need more info just drop a line.. im clueless when it comes to trucks
