I hope you can help. Within the past 2 months, my truck has sporadicly died. I live in CT. The past couple of months have been cold. I let the truck warm up for at least 10 minutes before driving. After going about 10 miles, or when the truck is up to full temperature, it will buck and hesitate like its starving for fuel. Without fail, the very next time I have to stop it will stall. If you turn the key right away, it won't start. Let it sit for about 15 minutes or more and it starts right up no problem. This will only happen if the temperature gets below 15 degrees or so. I've already drained the tank and run water remover to get rid of any water. I've put in a new battery to remedy any charging problem. I've put a diagnostic computer on it and checked all the sensors, voltage from altenator, and the fuel pump. No problems there. The check engine light never goes on. No fuses are blown. I recently did a full tune-up, so all the filters are new. I drove it to Kentucky during Christmas, which was over 1000 miles and 16 hours straight each way, with no problems. The temperature never got below 40 degrees during that time. When I got back into the cold weather, it started dying again. I've taken it to 2 different garages and the dealership I bought it from and all 3 told me there was nothing wrong. I'm still driving it with the hope that whatever is wrong will completly fail and I can get it fixed. Have you ever heard of any sensor that doesn't show up on a scanner, or any electronic failure due to cold weather? I'm out of patience and money. Any advice would be much appreciated.

It could possibly be the crank sensor is bad. Also, check the crank positon sensor. I am unsure of its location, but the magnets on one of these may have failed or they could be cracked.
