I cannot pump gas into my gas tank I think it is vapor locking or the screen will not open. I have a 2003 s10 crew cab.Whenever I start pumping gas into the tank I can only pump about .2 gallons in when it spews out. I have to wait until it flows into the tank very slowly to do it all over again. I've removed the gas hose and there is nothing in it. do you have any ideas?

There is a roll over valve located just on top of the tank between the fill line and the tank. It is basically just a round plastic ball that plugs the line in a roll over. I haven't heard of on causing problems but it's possible. I would pull the fill line off the tank and use a stiff piece of hose to make sure the ball isn't stuck.
