How can I trouble shoot the error

I had the same problem on a Z-71 did a little research and found that is was simply vapor lock from the cap. I pulled the cap off took some motor oil on the tip of my finger and spread it on the ring seal of the gas cap. Once I replaced the gas cap and reset the codes it was gone.
