I've just bought a 2002 Chevy S-10, and I was wondering about the timing belt. Is the timing belt on this truck an interference model or non-interference? I was also wondering what the recommended milage is for changing the timing belt.

your in luck, no timing belt. it has a chain and never needs replacing. hope this helps
