2002 Chevy S-10 cv axles

replacing cv axles and pass side was easy to replace but trying to get the hub off of the drivers side and it wont come off tried with a slide hammer puller and it wont come off and wonder if i am trying to do this the right way ???

if you have removed the bolts to the hub you should have removed the alxle nut and then smacked the axle inwards towards the axle hsg. i'll include two pictures.... the hub should remove after doing this, if not it is held in by rust /dirt.
