2002 Chevy S-10 Changing sparkplugs.

I Changed all the sparkplugs by taking each tire off.One at a time working through the wheel well.The passenger side was easy.The drivers side changed two then the steering column appears to be in the way.How do I disconnect the column?

you shouldnt have to. if you use a swivel socket, you should be able to get at it
