i have a 2002 Blazer ZR2.Is there anything other parts i have to remove in order to change the oil lines going to the filter and will i need any special GM tool to do the job?

Just the plastic cover under the frame. No special tools. Make SURE you get the old seal rings out and use new rings and torque them to spec.
