when I am driving at a constant speed, my 2001 s-10 is doing something weird. It almost feels like it is losing power, but the RPM's are bouncing between 1400 and 1600. It only happens when I keep steady pressure on the gas pedal. It starts fine, accelerates fine and only does it when I keep steady pressure on the gas. As soon as I get off the gas, or press harder, the problem goes away. Any thoughts?

Hi:
It sounds like a TPS, throttle position sensor. I recommend you have the computer scanned before just replacing the item to make sure. Most nationally recognized parts stores will do it for free.

Let me know what you find.
