I recently replaced my battery in my S10 pick up and noticed when I got in that the speedo is pegged at 100 MPH. It stays in the same place with the ignition on or off. I disconnected the battery and reconnected with no results. Thanks for the help!!

Hi mohaveb,

Thank you for the donation.

Power surge during installation of the battery has caused the needle to overshoot.

Remove the meter cluster and manually turn the needle back to zero and retest.
