my rear view mirror fell off and i went and purchased adhesive from a car parts store to reattach. When I attempted to remove the button from the back of the rear view mirror, it wouldn't slide out and separate. There seemed to be a metal pin that looked like two front teeth with small bumps holding in the button. I could not figure out for the life of me how to get that out so that I could slide the button out to reattach got the windshield. Its difficult as is cause the mirror is dangling by the electrical wire. Please help !
