Brakes problem
2001 Chevy S-10 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

I was wondering how you install the rear dust guards on a chev s10 4 wheel drive. They were not on it when I purchased the truck, and need them for inspection. It looks to me that the rear axle has to come off to be able to remove the wheel hub from the axle itself. Please help.

you may have to pull the axle, but you may also beableto sneak the thing in if you can get itpast the bolts/studs. I'm including a picture, the only thing yoll have to worry about is the parking brake and that has a cable so thereshould be some movement. the shield being sheet metal won't need much to slide in there. If you can't get it in like that then yo'll need to pull the axles out just a tad..
