2001 Chevy S-10 No warm air to floor when selector switch i

No warm/hot air is sent to floor when selector switch is set to floor, instead it come out the defroster vents. Warm air will come out the upper vents and defroster vents when the selector switch is set accordingly.

What you are looking for in this case is a vacuum leak. The vent doors are actuated by vacuum. Check under the dash and hood for vacuum leaks. NOTE: Sometimes, with the engine running, you can actually hear a hissing sound from a leak. Check that out to see if it helps.
