2001 Chevy S-10 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

I see where users say they jumped a switch to engage A/C compressor. Where is the "switch" on the four cylinder accumulator, and how to you jump the switch? I wan to make sure compressor works before taking to mechanic. I know where the leaks are. Just want to know if I need new compressor or not.

Dark green is voltage, black is ground for the compressor clutch. You might use an inline fuse on the jumper. You don't need to run the vehicle, to see if the clutch will react for a second. Take the connector loose, run jumpers for the clutch.
