2001 Chevy S-10 Heater Fan Noise

On and off for several years the heater/air cond fan would make a noise - if I cracked open the window or lower the fan speed it would stop. Now however at any speed -with or without the window being cracked open the noise continues. More so at higher fan speeds. There is still heat and cooling coming out. The noise sounds a bit muffeled and louder as the speed increases.

I would remove blower motor and inspect fan blade and motor bearing
replace as needed
