Electrical problem
2001 Chevy S-10 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

The service engine light appeared on the instrument dash in which I hookup a OBD II AutoScanner that gave a trouble code reading indicated that the fuel composition sensor was giving a low output reading. Is there way I can clean this device or does it have to be replaced?

Thanks,
Mark

this sensor is located on the right front passenger side on the frame rail. To the best of my knowledge, it isn't serviceable. I would recommend trying a junk yard because a new one is over 500 dollars.
