2001 Chevy S-10 Fixing Four wheel drive

I have a Chevys10 and i got stuck one time and try to turn the four wheel drive on to get stuck and did not came one and i think it broken. i like to fix the problem myself without sending it to a repair shop and spending five hundred dollars that they saying it needs to be replace, and i check the fuse and its good and check the connections to the buttons and is connected but the light is not lighting up.
can you please help me what is the problem.

Have you checked for power to the actuator on the transfer case?

Yes i did and check the fuses and the cord everything checks fine. It just don't want to come on.

If you have power to the actuator and it isn't engaging, the actuator must be bad. Remove it and have it checked.

Let me know what you find.
