First issue is that a week or two ago I started to notice a clang when I shift from reverse to drive. Back out of a parking spot. Stop. Shift to drive. Clutch engages and clang.

Second issue is that there seems to be a squealing noise above 30 mph. It isn't constant, but definitely is tied to throttle/engine rpm. Take your foot off the gas, it stops, push the pedal in, and it starts again. When I rev the engine in neutral, there is no noise. I can not really pin point the source, but from inside the cab, it sounds like it may be the rear wheel on passenger side. Possibly a bearing issue?

First and second issues may be related, but I really have no idea. Anyone have any thoughts, ways to pin point the noise, anything?

Start here:

Raise car, put on stands. Grasp tire and push/pull both horizontally and vertically, if any movement then possible wheel bearing, ball joint, tie rod, control arm bushing.

The clank is most likely a worn u-joint. Check u-joints for excessive wear.

U-joints are a definite possibility. My dad bought me this truck as my first car 6 years ago. After that, we realized it originated in Detroit, MI and the road salt wreaked havoc on some of the parts under the car.

Yes, I think you right on track, most likely both problems are u-joint related.
