my brake lights and abs dash lights
come on most of the time after driving
a short distance. my machanic says its the
computer and not the brakes

Have PCM checked for codes Aytu Zone will do free. Then post. Engine on hold brake pedal does it go to floor? if so bad master also ckeck each wheel for leaks.
