2000 Chevy S-10 sounds like sticky lifters

Noises problem
2000 Chevy S-10 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 135xxx miles

Sounds like broken or sticky lifters but i already changed them all and its still making the noise. i tryed changing oil to 20w50 changing feul type, changing spark plugs and checking the gap. Might be a exhaust leak? i dont think its timing because it doesnt lag at n e time and the pistons and vavles were fine. what else should i check?

Noisey fuel injectors can also sound like lifters, put your finger on each one and see if they seem to be clicking too loudly.

its not the injectors ether. i used a stethiscope
