2000 Chevy S-10 Poping Noise???

I just bought a Chevy s-10 and when i back up it pops......Is this the rear end going out or ????thanx Tyler

Could be anything from a trans problem, bad U joint, bad rear axle, bad brakes. If you got it from a dealer I would take it back and tell them to repair it.
