My fuel guage is all over the place and never reads accurate. I think i need to relace the fuel sending unit but do i need to drop the tank to get to it? Are the pump and sending unit seperate?

may be easier to lift bed instead of removing tank, Pump can be bought seperatly, or as a complete unit, 50.00 VS. 200.00-500.00 for complete piece.

yes you will have to remove the fuel tank. the sending unit assembly is integral with the pump so the entire pump assembly must be replaced.
