I am going to replace my fuel filter, but am wondering about conflicting things I've heard concerning relieve pressure in the lines. I've heard there is a bleed valve under the hood, that you should take the pump fuse out while the truck is running, or just to remove the filter. With my pickup, what is the proper way of doing it?

Go under the hood and find the schrader valve(like a tire valve), take teh cap off and put arag around it to soak up the fuel, press the center part and releive the gas. Then change the fuel filter. AFter you get it changed, turn the key on to make sure no leaks start the truck.
