How dirty was the old fuel filter? If you were pulling the very bottom of the tank it is possible some of the garbage on the bottom of the tank may have gotten through the filter to the injectors. Try a good fuel cleaning additive. I would suggest either SeaFoam if available in your area or Lucas. Both clean the whole system. They are the only 2 additives I use.
