I am getting P0178 & P0179 codes, Fuel composition Sensor Circuit Low & High. My question is, since I don't use any gas with alcohol in it, can I somehow bypass this sensor. I hate to spend $650+ on something I don't need just to get the check engine light to go off.[img:c8f0bc0d1a]http://www.2carpros.com/forum/automotive_pictures/170026_sensor_1.jpg[/img:c8f0bc0d1a]

There is a company called tandselectronics selling bypass units on ebay called a Flex Fuel replicator for $150. You just unplug the sensor, plug in the box and you are done.
