How do I change the a/c clutch bearing, or should I have it done by my mechanic. I have some mechanic knowledge, usually I do most of my own work. When it comes to a/c work I am not too savvy on that, other than charging the system up a little. Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks Jake

Hello,

You will need a few Specialty Tools which can be expensive for a one time use. I would suggest either taking it to a reputable A/C place to replace the clutch and front seal or take it to a local garage and have them evacuate the system and replace the whole A/C Compressor. Then you can charge the system yourself.
