Once car heats up, spedometer fluctuates and drops to 0 and ABS light comes on and truck will not shift . Shows code 2 eratic speed sensor in rear. Does vehicle need a speed sensor or could this be the beginning of a ECM going bad?

Chances are the Vehicle Speed Sensor is bad (VSS). I would start with that.

Let me know if it fixes the problem.
