I HAVE A 4.3 L V6 FUEL PUMP DOES NOT GET 12 VOLTS AT IT CAN YOU EXPLAIN WHYNOT AND WHERE I CAN START TO LOOK FOR THE PROBLEM

When you turn key to run all you got is a few secs to look for power at the fuel pump connector before the fuel pump de-energizes this is the priming stage when the oil pressure goes beyond 4psi the fuel pump/oil sending unit powers the pump constantly.
