1999 Chevy S-10 Fuel delivery

Having trouble with fuel pump, replaced the solenoid then the vapor canister is leaking and gas cap is under extreme pressure, the truck is running very badly what else do you think needs to be checked we will replace the vapor box this weekend will this fix it all? And when checking the gas tank for leaks there was a ball about the size of a golf ball(green) was it supposed to be in the tank????

There should be nothing else in the tank besides the fuel pump and sending unit. Include a pic of what you found if you can. As for will the vaper canister fix you problems you won't know till you replace it. After you have it replaced if it still don't run correctly then check the fuel pressure get back to me with the fuel pressure and the 8th digit of the vin, is it a Z or W.
