The battery light on my Chevy S-10 is on, and the battery guage reads at 10-1/2. It's been two days now, but still running okay. The battery was purchased 2 yrs ago because my truck died and the dealership told me it was the battery. Is there an ongoing problem here, or do I just need to check the battery connections for corrosion? Thanks.

Get the alternator load tested-10.5 volts is too low-it should be in the range of 13.5-15.5 volts running-Not running 12.4-12.8 volts
