Engine Performance problem
1998 Chevy S-10 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

The truck runs really ruff at idle, it takes alot of time to get up to speed(very sluggish). I have changed spark plugs (wires, plugs and coil packs), a new crank position sensor, new fuel filter (fuel pressure is fine), and had my catylitic converter checked out. What could be the problem? I am running out of money and patience.

Clean out the idle air control valve, test the throttle position sensor and manifold absolute pressure sensor.

it takes alot of time to get up to speed(very sluggish). You sure its not coming from a slipping clutch
