1998 Chevy S-10 Re: Catalytic Converter

Hi!
My brother, who can't be bothered with "Googling" for info, wants to know how to put a used c. Converter in his Chevy pickup.
He had a new starter put in, and after that he said the converter is rattling.
Thanks for any help!

He can choose to cut out the old one and weld in a new one or he can mess around with the old one and pull it out and use new clamps and clamp it in, I prefer the cut and weld method.
