1998 Chevy S-10 ignition buzzer won't turn off except in on

I have been unable to get the ignition buzzer to stop unless I turn the key all the way to the on\crank position. Is this a fuse problem? Can I disable the buzzer? Where is it located?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
