1998 Chevy S-10 engine quit

the engine quit going down the road, ran fine up to that point. There is no power the engine will not turn over. The battery and alternator checked out fine. Any ideas?

Have you checked the voltage regulator to see if its getting any power to the alrenator.its not that bad of a job and should be located near the battery compartment.
