1998 Chevy S-10 Dash Gauges and Cruise don't work but dash

I have a 98 S10 pick up and yesterday the dash gauages and cruise control stopped working but the dash lights work fine. Every once in a while if I hit a bump the gauges will come back on for a little bit. Also, the warning lights on the dash will flicker once in a while. HELP. Thanks.

sounds like a loose connection in the wiring
