1997 Chevy S-10 uv joint replacement

I am trying to replace the uv joints bit I cannot figure out how to get the uv joints out of the driveshaft.
The new joints come with lock rings, but the ones on the truck do not.

you might have internal snap rings or just bolted on, check it.

you will have to use a press to get it out of the driveshaft and put the new one back on.
