when i first crank my truck and drive it and press the gas it holds back i changed the plugs and wires and it still does it i drive it for a bit and after awhile it runs fine

Welcome to the forum, not sure of engine litre size? Use a gage and check fuel pressure, when the problem occurs, 55--61psi.
