I am trying to remove the fuel tank to replace the fuel pump. The back strap was easily detached, but the front one is attached to a bracket about 12" long on the bottom of the tank. Does this metal bracket have to be removed from the frame to remove the tank? I have a manual, but it doesn't say a thing about this situation. Thanks.
