1997 Chevy S-10 Clutch slave or Master Cylinder

the clutch petal has no resistance to it and cannot shift gears while engine is on. I've disconnected the line and still no resistance, fluid levels good. need to know if its the slave or master before i remove parts.

if i'm not mistaken the slave and master come as an assembly. So you can't replace one without the other....
