I have a leak that looks to be coming from the upper back of the water pump. This is my 1st S10 V6 and the water pump appear to be mounted onto a plate and the water spraying from below a bolt. Is the mount of a pump different on this type of vehicle and perhaps not a bad water pump? Pleas help?

I cannot insert a picture until morning.

Thank you,

Oscar

nothing special here, if coolant is leaking near water pump then it is most likely either a failing water pump, coolant hose or a failed water pump gasket.
