1996 Chevy S-10 engine flooding

when i start it it runs rough and puts off black smoke even if you speed up the engine the motor does smooth out but it still puts off black smoke it is getting good air intake through the breather???

Hi, Have It checked For codes first ,If Nothing Turns up, Then I'd Check The Fuel Pressure Regulator.That Is Inside, Under The Black Plastic Upper intake .The injectors Are Part Of it.Looks Like A Spider.It's A High Failure rate On these Trucks.
