I own a 1996 S-10 Blazer. Bought in 2001 and have went thru about 5 batteries since then. But more recently its developed a new problem that I'm thinking is also associated with the battery and/or electrical problem. When I turn my headlights on, my wipers come on and the only way to stop them is to pull the fuse and when I do that, then I lose one low beam headlight (lefthand side) When this happens, my left hand signal (dash) light stays on..steady, not flashing. This is all really odd I'd like to have an idea of what may be the cause before taking it to a garage or maybe it can be fixed by my husband.
Thank you,
Stephanie Holdren

As far as the headlite/wiper issue, I'd check the multifunction switch. As far as your battery issue, I'd check the charging system first.
