1995 Chevy S-10 Spark Plugs

The person who did a tune up on this truck bought plugs, wires, and distributer cap for a regular V6, and this truck is a V6 Vortec. He set the gap at .045 and switched everything out anyways, and now it runs rough. There is a noticable rumbling vibration when I am driving and idling that was not there before the tune-up. It also doesn't get up to speed like it used to. He said there was no difference between V6 and V6 Vortec plugs. I think there must be, or the gap is wrong. Any advice?

there shouldnt be any difference. call up any autopart store and ask them.

the gapping and plug numbers can be foudn on the emisions lable usually on the hood or on the air cleaner assembly.

you could be getting inductive crossfiring , make sure no plugs that are on the firing order next to eachother.

say firing order is 14326 say 3 and 2 are on teh same side of the engine, and firing order together, those wires cannot be running parallel to eachother, they will have to criss cross and be separated.
