1995 Chevy S-10 Emergency light switch

I broke the emergency light swith off, witch is back be hind the stirring wheel while removing the dash to put a sterio system in. What do i need to do about the light switch because the emergency lights will not turn off now?

temporarily you could remove the fuse for the flashers but for a permanent fix you will have to replace the hazard flasher switch itself.
