1995 Chevy S-10 Distributor

Hello, the s10 four cylinder pickup shows dis ignition.

The s10 blazer shows distribution ignition, but that is a 6 cylinder.
If you have the coil driver module that is separate from the distributor, if the coil driver module, has a purple wire with white tracer, that sends the rpm signal to the computer, without that signal, the computer won't pulse the injector/s. I haven't looked at your injector, do you have that spider fuel system?

if you have spark and good fuel pressure then it is more than likely the coil driver(ignition module). You might want to spray some starting fluid into the manifold just to check and see if it is fuel or spark. i have seen a few s10s that have had spark and fuel pressure and still would not run. Usually the problem lies with the ignition module. You can check to see if the injectors are being pulsed if you have access to a noid light set.

also if you have the cpi(vortec/spider) injected v6 then i doubt it is out of time. it would be odd for this engine to jump time unless something were wrong with a timing chain(unlikely) or you removed the distributor. If you have the throttle body injected v6 then yes you definately want to consider checking the timing
